1870

May: Thomas York, his wife Mary Elizabeth and their seven children arrived from England & settled here.

summer: Thomas's wife, and their daughter Mary Elizabeth died.

1871

April: Thomas married Naomi Brown.

April: Thomas died. His son Harry ran away to Kansas City shortly but returned home at some later date.

Later

Junction City was home for many of Thomas's descendants for many years. A number of them still live in the vicinity, and in May, 2000, some sixty people attended a York family reunion there.
