early:  Edna Gateley & Charlie Brandon move here; Charlie is involved in constructing an arms plant near here.

summer:  Bill Gateley joins his mother & Charlie during his summer vacation and works for a bit at the arms plant. 

1943

January:  Edna Gateley died. She was buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado Springs under the name of Edna M. Brandon. Her grave in in the same plot as that of her daughter, Mary Elizabeth, and her parents. Harry and Linnie York.
