A SIDE TRIP TO THE PIKES PEAK REGION
A few miles west of Hedinger's Lake (three miles southeast of Limon, Colorado) Bayard Taylor's stage coach crossed the present US24 which is a convenient spot from which to take our side-trip to Calhan, Eastonville, Black Forest and Colorado Springs.
The major landmark is of course Pikes Peak!
