MEMORANDUM - THINGS TO BE DONE WITH REFERENCE TO BUILDING OF COTTAGE

1.   Financing.  Inquiry from Howard - labor costs

2.   Well and water supply

3.   Clearing of place for building and fixing road

4.   Examination of architect's plans and conference of architects, builder, Pratt and Ogden  call both, Tues 4 P.M.

5.   Estimate of costs.  Reed to be used in every way possible

6.   Interview with supervisor is re - improvement of road

7.  Arrangements for supervision and hiring of help  Nyland

8.   Question re - building sleeping quarters + tents - advertisement

9.   Accounting re - sums spent

10.  Payment of taxes

11.  Procuring of saddle for ponies.  See about getting a riding horse.

12.  Re - refrigeration

13.  Re - bunks and interior arrangements for sleeping

14.  Re - sinking floor a bit

15.  Re - contract building and architect

16.  Re - garden, flowers etc.

17.  Re poplars to line road & boundaries -
